As soon as you arrive in Israel after getting the B-1 work visa, you need to present your travel documents, official visa documents, and all the other necessary supporting documents at Immigration to proceed.
After that, make your way to the Ministry of Interior office at the Israeli airport to collect your work permit. This is a necessary step, as you will receive the work permit digital print certificate to start your work as desired. You no longer need to request for a work permit sticker on your passport.
Once the airport requirements are completed, make your way to purchase a local SIM card for your mobile phone.
The next step is to visit a bank with the necessary documentation, like a work permit, identity proof, etc., to open a new bank account in Israel for salary collection and day-to-day money management.
Always keep all your necessary documents, like passport, work permit, financial papers, etc., safe with you at all times. Also, keep a clear copy of all these documents in case you are required to submit any of these documents to the employer.
